At 3D Expo Istanbul, held 17–19 September 2026 at Istanbul Fair Center, we welcomed manufacturers, designers and engineers working in additive manufacturing at stand E170. Our theme fitted in one line: From Material to Performance.
What we showed
The show focused on large-format 3D printing, so we presented Hightech Polimer's single material brand for it — HIGH-STRAN® 3D printing pellets:
- Five matrices: PP, PETG, PETG-PC, PA6 and PPS — from low-density, economical PP to high-temperature PPS.
- Glass and carbon fiber reinforcement: GF / CF options that reduce warpage and add stiffness and dimensional stability on large parts.
- Pellets and filament: pellets for pellet-fed extruders, and the same formulation as filament when needed.
- Custom formulation: matrix, reinforcement and additives tuned to the application.
- Large-format process support: a technical approach to layer adhesion, print quality and part performance.

Why pellets instead of filament?
This was the question we heard most. On large parts filament is slow and expensive. Pellet-fed systems use the same granules as an injection moulding machine, skipping the extra filament-making step and multiplying throughput. The same pellet can also be injection moulded, so you can move from prototype to series production without changing material.
Who we talked to
Tooling, automotive, defence, machinery, energy, architecture and furniture — visitors came from every application area in our brochure. The robotic large-format printing projects we run with our partner Avenco Termoplastik were a useful reference for anyone wanting to see the material in real use.
After the show
We are following up on the sample and project discussions that started at the stand. If you missed us, just share your printing system (extruder size, nozzle) and the part you want to print — we will suggest the right HIGH-STRAN® grade and send a trial sample.
